You
need
to
create
another
copy
and
you
need
to
save
it
in a
format
you
can
easily
access.
You
can
even
print
out
your
data
and
keep
a
hard
copy
in
your
files.
If
you
use
the
Windows
XP
address
book,
the
whole
process
is a
snap.
1. Open
your
address
book.
It's
in
the
accessories
menu.
2. Go
to
file,
then
choose
Other
Address
Book.
3. Choose
the
file
type
you
wish
to
export
to,
such
as a
text
file.
A
text
file
is a
good
option
because
it's
easily
printed
and
universally
compatible.
4. Follow
the
instructions
as
to
which
fields
you
wish
to
export.
You
can
also
export
your
address
book
from
Outlook
XP.
1. Open
Microsoft
Outlook.
2. Enter
your
contacts
page.
3. Choose
File,
then
Import
and
Export.
4. Choose
to
Export
to a
file.
5. You
can
choose
from
a
good
number
of
file
formats.

can
export
to

keep
your
addresses
and
contact
information
