off
with
this
tip.
When
you
open
the
Start
menu,
you
may
notice
that
Windows
offers
a
nifty
sliding
menu.
You
hover
on
an
item
with
an
arrow
next
to
it
and
suddenly
a
menu
pops
up
to
one
side
of
the
arrow.
Sometimes
there
will
be
an
animation
before
the
menu
can
pop
out.
1.
Right-click
on
the
desktop.
2.
Select
Properties.
3.
Select
the
Effects
tab.
4.
Uncheck
"Animate
windows,
menus,
and
lists."
5.
Click
Apply.
Now
Windows
sliding
menus
will
pop
out
instantly.
